    You could sell the engine, transmission (although you won't get much more than $100 for a stock AOD), ecu if it's a mass-air car, the tail-lights and the doors/fenders if they're in good shape. You could probably get your money back - how long it takes to sell everything is another story...

    The stops aren't there to make your shifts shorter. They're there to protect your shift fork/transmission when slamming through the gears....so you don't "overshift"...Having the stops out too far is just as bad as not having them at all...:nice:

    I left mine on when I had the stock distributor cap...now with the MSD cap and red wires, I leave it off. I think latemodelrestoration.com (50resto) has reproductions available now.
