    Mount your sub. That thing becomes a 60 pound bullet in the event of a collision. Seriously, people have been killed by tissue boxes left lying in the car. Don't depend on the rear seat to stop it. Even a bungee cord or some velcro beats nothing, but mount that ****er down.

    It's tall as hell, but they both have gears/tunes to correct. GI Joe is one of the members (Roush). It's unfortunate that tire companies don't see the need to make 315 or 305/30/20's

    Are you simply making up information? I can make a 245 stick out like a skateboard, and a 345 not be withing 10 feet of the fender. It's all about backspacing (and total available area). There is enough space to fit 345's in the fenders, but I think they would rub on the shocks on a hard...

    Man, I wish they made those in black or gun metal. They look good on a car. My personal preference on tires for those would be a 315/35 and 275/35.

    Ditto. I also changed out my plates for some older DEI Studio separates and A-pillar mounted the tweets. Easy install and works very well.

    Just use a 1 cube box, add your speaker and bracing, and 1 pound of polyfill. It will be so close that you won't even be able to measure any differences electronically. On a sealed enclosure, precision isn't key, but bracing and a good seal are.

    The problem is on the "red" power wire. That's the one that supplies switched power (as in, "on" with the ignition). The yellow 12v wire sounds like it is still good (why the radio will take discs). I'm betting the wire IS broken, but inside the insulation. Test it for voltage at the radio...

    Tang-Band makes both a 6x8 and the fullrange drivers you'd need. I would suggest trying to stuff mids/tweets into the kickpanels and A-pillars and put an 8" sub in each door.

    Neither will fit. For a 9" rim to fit properly, you'll need around 30+mm offset. Otherwise, the wheels will stick out too far.

    Yep, 7mm. The radio is then held in by 4 more 7mm bolts.

    Since you haven't yet purchased, consider the Elemental Designs 7kv2. For the price, it won't be touched. I thought you already had the JL's.

    Agree. Also, I never cared much for the Impulse line. They were pretty "thin" sounding, and didn't handle power well. If those are JL 6w0's, they'll actually handle much more than the 75 watts.
