01 GT lost of fuel pressure after OP Temp

+1 on the chance you have the wrong pump installed. Sounds like a constant voltage pump in the wrong application to me. You don't still have the part number you purchased do you? I would like to rule that out.

96 GT 5spd suddenly hard to shift into gear

Something else to consider - You might need a new pilot bearing. I have known people that complained of this before and said it went away after they got a new clutch put in and others that put a clutch in themselves and it did not go away. Difference was that the shops replaced the pilot...

Odd Noise Coming From Front Of Car...

I would still lean towards wheel bearing. Pull it and inspect. The play usually occurs when rollers from the bearing or the race are severly damaged. Overheated, dry bearings will sing too but may not show slop at some temperatures. I would pull it and inspect for discoloration. If there is...

    Bent Rims

Just for clarification on the rotors. I have drilled and slotted rotors because I got an unbeatable deal on them - they were in a box in the trunk of the car when I bought it! If I had not gotten such a deal, I would have only gotten slotted. The cross drilled holes have a tendency to promote...

Strange thing in my dash by the lighter...

Looks like an indicator light. May or may not be hooked up. You don't need any tools to pull that part of the console out.

    Need some help

Good points rougestang. You should always keep your end goal in mind so you do not do things twice. That being said though, I would still go for cams. The cams control the personality of the vehicle and changes in lift and duration have great impact on performance. I would almost say that...

    Help,Cooling Issues

Glad to see your issue is resolved. I have been following this and have had issues that present themselves in strange ways as well. Hope this does not take the fun out of playing with cars for you.

    Bent Rims

I am not sold on the bent rims.. If the rims are bent you should experience the vibration all the time - not just when the brake is applied. It may be more noticeable at certain speeds but should not only act up when brake is applied. There could be grime, debris or damage to the center hole...

    halo headlight replacement

Everybody calm down. Let's take it a little slower. Dude, if you want help, let us see what we are working on. It would be a good idea to pull the problem unit and inspect it. You may find it is a plug and play set up and you have the burnt bulb to reference to get a replacement. Or at...

    Need some help

First, what are you lacking to get it rolling? You already have a clutch? Look at all you have and make sure you are not missing something. Then I would consider cams - you already have PI heads and intake so you are not suffering, don't get me wrong, it can be better but you can upgrade later...

    IT'S NOT A 5.0!

d98gt, Metallic green is stock, cowl induction part is black with pearl and the flames are mystic. The guy did a good job picking and mixing the mystic - from straight on it looks like the same green as the rest of the car but flips to gold, red and purple. Thanks.

    Clutch cable

I would suggest getting one that is attached to a 4.6L! JK Same cable should work for both. Clutch pedal is the same and movement arm for the throw out bearing is in same location.

    Clutch cable

No sweat. Cable can be done in minutes once you know what you are doing - it takes about as much time to get it up and on stands as it does to swap cable. Routing the cable is the hardest part so note where yours runs before pulling it. There is one screw on the bracket attached to the cable...

    Broken antenna

Easy out maybe. Do you have a welder? I have been known to tack a piece of scrap or a small bolt to the end of a broken off bolt and then use the head of the bolt to turn it out. How far down is it? You could take a cut off wheel and cut a slot on it and use a flat head screwdriver. WD40...

Auto Insurance Gurus I Have Some ?'s

I have never had any problem with modifications on a car voiding insurance. The only thing to consider is that I had a standard full coverage policy on a past mustang that was modified to the gills and got smacked hard by an uninsured twit. My policy would cover the book value of the car but...

Do T-45s shift rougher than TR-3650s?

From the title of the thread I thought this was going to be about the transmission itself. Clutch feel is subjective but apparently you either cannot get used to yours or there is something amiss. Replacing the clutch will give you fresh perspective but as it is apparently not a drive-ability...
