    Disappointed in my paint

Hope you are taken care of. I have had many Fords and have never seen anything like that with any of mine - even when I lived at the end of a 1/8 mile crush and run driveway!

    Clutch Adjustment

Just take out the slack - a lot of companies say to leave a tiny bit of slack in it to make sure that you don't tension it. If you put tension on the cable to the point that the bearing is always pressing in on the fingers of the pressure plate you can get slippage and accelerated wear.

    PI Headswap..Degree/Retard Comp Cams 262ah???

Unfortunately there is no cut and dry answer for that either. The requirements for different combinations driven under different conditions determine the best orientation of the cams. Your set up may respond better with advance, retard or straight up. You would have to look at your...

    Trans am seats in mustang?

You can put any seats that physically fit inside the car in there if you wish but you may have to fabricate some brackets or adapters and change the plug on the wiring if they are power seats. If your question is will it bolt in directly - not likely. But it is not that hard to fab some...

    PI Headswap..Degree/Retard Comp Cams 262ah???

If I were you, I'd consult Comp Cams - they are always helpful - and then do my own check on piston to valve clearance regardless of the answer they give you. The first time you do not check this you will likely learn a pricey lesson.. Advance and retard are not typically something that you...

    Clutch Adjustment

I am guessing that you just have a preference for the disengagement down low but wonder why. The lower to the floor you put the disengage point, the shorter the travel you will have of the throw out bearing itself. If it is too short you run the risk of just taking partial pressure off the...

    ticking on acceleration

What type of ticking? Was it there before the H-pipe install? Likely an exhaust leak. Fix it and get rid of the tick.

    Bad gas mileage

The smell of rotten eggs you mentioned would lead me to worry about the function of your cats. When backed up they typically smell of sulfur (rotten eggs).

    Bad gas mileage

+1 on the possibility of a leak. When the car runs, does the exhaust seem normal or does it smell rich and burn your eyes bad? Is the car stock or modified? 10mpg is not bad if you are making 1500hp! Give us some more info. Thanks.

97 GT won't move in gear

If it continues to idle when in gear then either you are not really in gear like you think or your input shaft is not spinning. Either way, the trans has to come out. When you look into the bell housing from the clutch cable access, have someone operate the clutch and see if it is working...

coolant problem when a/c is on full blast

sounds like a significant fluid loss. This should manifest itself. fill it and duplicate in the driveway - you should be able to find the leak.

97 GT won't move in gear

The car cranks up, but in gear it will not move or it stalls out - which do you mean by will not move under it's own power? Would be a good idea to take a look in the clutch fork hole and see if anything is obvious.

    4R70W parts

Goes in easy and looks like a factory set up with a much nicer handle. Has a illuminated gear indicator on the driver's side and an overdrive lockout button on the passenger side. I still have the factory console parts so I can set them together and take a pic.

    Maintenance Recommendations

To some degree that would depend on how you have maintained in the past. Transmission service - fluid change, differential fluid, inspect everything from belt and ball joints to yoke ends on drive shaft. Things like valve seals are typically replace as needed and not limited to a specific time...

CEL flashing, bad idle, severe misfire, P0302 P0316, compression test results

Make sure that you only use the silicone on the key way - just a dab to prevent leak. Silicone all over the crank snout can limit the balancer's ability to do it's job - that is why the "crank pulley is a two part unit with an elastomer in between is to dampen harmonics and a good solid...
