    get a panel removal tool or flat head screw driver and pop up the bezel around the shifter (or stick your hands under the shift boot and pull up, just be gentle) once you get that off, pull forward on the rest of the dash bezel that goes around the A/C and actual radio. unplug the switches...

    awesome thanks, i did search and didnt find that ? i typed in mac straight shot pic anyway, my question is: there is a chrome plate that has 4 bolt holes on it that appears to insert into the tube. im assuming that it inserts to the throttle body side then the intake tubing goes over it...

    yes the metra 70-5519 will work, i installed Andre G's radio with him, but make sure you hook up BOTH amp turn on wires (blue with white stripe)to get all your speakers to work.
