Seat Pan Relocaton - Anybody done this?

Lowering Seat Pans Yep, I did it. My aftermarket Cobra Daytona seats definitely needed to be lowered, and it's still a bit tight. I think I ended up getting the seat pans 1.75" lower. I drilled out the spot welds on the trans tunnel and rocker panels, but I just cut the seat pan to floor...

    LED Tail lamps

LED tail lights I just installed the http://www.mustangproject.com/ LED tail light kit on my 67, and I'm very happy with the result. The kit you showed actually has quite a few more LED lights than the Mustang Project Kit at a competitive price. As far as the look goes, even though...

    Making billet T-5 shifters...need opinions

I hear you... the back order thing is a PITA. Vendors that don't tell you something is on back order until after they take your money are... shall we say, "questionable". Will you announce that you are taking orders on Stangnet first or on your ReenMachine website? I have a feeling that...

    Paint done, 50 dollar method

Great job! I may try this on my car, but I may go the spend-y route and purchase Brightside paint instead of rustoleum. Thanks for sharing your results, and keep us up to date as time works on the new paint.

    Lowering bucket seats? Need help.

Lowering Seat Pans Here's a really good article on lowering your seat pans... http://www.mustangsplus.com/tech/seat/index.html I did the same thing on my 67 to make room for aftermarket seats that are a bit higher. I cut out the spot welds on the rocker and tunnel, but I just cut the...

    67 Super Snake Project

Hydraulic clutch TO bearing What a pain! I hope I don't run into the same problem. I just installed my G-Force T5 trans with a hydraulic TO bearing last week. My trans builder shipped it with the TO bearing installed, and he said it's setup to match perfectly with the clutch... we'll see...

    67 Super Snake Project

Thanks for your reply, Richard. Yes, I saw that in the instructions. However, the wiring harness provided in my kit for the SPAL temp sender has 2 wires attached to it (one green, one black), not just a single wire as noted in the instructions. Perhaps all I need to do is connect the green...

    67 Super Snake Project

extra water temp sending unit? Do you mean attaching two wires to the same sending unit will affect the accuracy of the signal?! My car does not have an EFI setup like yours, do you think I would still have the same issue? I had been planning to have my SPAL fan piggy back on my...

    Making billet T-5 shifters...need opinions

I have a T5 with one of the repro stock looking shifter levers with a stock 67 center console. How much farther back towards the driver do you think your new shifter will place the shift knob? By the way, I really appreciate you sharing all your ideas on this forum. ReenMachine rocks!

    LONG TUBE VS SHORTY HEADERS

Has anyone published dyno comparisons between long tube and short tube headers to see the true power differences between both designs? If yes, can someone point me to those numbers? I'm sure long tube headers pull more hp, but how much more? I'd like to see actual figures before making a...

JME gauge cluster and factory cluster

Not to steel this thread, but... In my 67 the old dash had a voltage regulator for some of the gauges. Does anyone know if you have to install the old instrument voltage regulator for aftermarket Autometer gauges? Or do the new gauges run off straight 12v?

    Floor Insulation & Sound Deadening

I went with Damplifier Pro. It controls sound as well as Dynomat, but it handles heat much better. I'm in the middle of the install, and it will be another few months before I get my car back on the road, so I don't have any real world test results yet. Here' s a great website that compares...
