    My IAC is either dirty or broken and does the surging RPM thing at idle too. I've heard you can take it apart and clean it with carb cleaner. I don't know if it works, but it's what my mechanic friend told me.

    Mine is goofy too. Ive changed my own oil and been confused. I took it to a shop out here, they changed the oil, and still got the same results. Next time I gotta have the dipstick notched I guess.
