    first things to check are vacuum and timing buuut you might have a bog caused by your carbeurator... lowering your floats, is what i'd do if you find that you have a good vacuum and your timing isnt way off

    long tubes make more power short tubes leave more clearance to work and more ground clearance hooker is a cool name witha good reputation i think you can get some pretty cheap headers from summit for like $80

    with that intake, you'r power will drop like a rock after 5500 rpms with that said, i wouldnt get a cam designed for more than 6k rpms and watch out because diffent cam makers give different grinds diffent rev limits

    nice stang... imo, you should film your movies of the car "flyby's" at a lower speed going by the camera at 50-70 mph doesnt leave much time to see your car also, the wind hindered teh sound :( it would be sweet to see a speedo or tach but other than my nitpicking... coool :) i like...

    hearne, i didnt say he'd be slow but i doubt a stock 2barrel cleveland is all that fast chevy guys "back in the day" didnt have brand new SS's to drive around if a stock 2barrel cleveland runs under 14 in the quarter i will crap my pants yes i know the boss 351 was the fastest mustang...

    i would get the bigger cam i have the smaller cam (edelbrock performer) and while it moves my 66 mustang (289) pretty good (probably around mid 14's in the quarter) your car weighs 1k lbs more than mine does and also, mid 14's is not all that great nowadays... a new honda will run that...

    surge in carb

    my guess that your timing is waaaay off or your carb when i had surge problems it was my carb... try raising your float level and see if that helps
