    What clutch kit did you install? A couple of things to check: Pull up on the clutch pedal. It will remove any slack from the clutch cable. If that doesn't help check to see if the cable is binding anywhere.

    If you are going to replace the clutch then I would install a new clutch kit. Why put a worn out pressure plate and throw out bearing on a brand new clutch? Also, don't forget that you may need the flywheel resurfaced or replaced.

    Is the picture you posted the filter before or after the cleaning? The filter itself is a pretty sturdy unit. As long as there are no visible tears or rips in the filter and the rubber is in good condition then it's fine.
