    How do you heat your work area?

    I use two of these to heat a 1200 sq ft workshop.. I mounted the control down low on the wall for adjustment. I didn't have gas close, so it was the best route I could find. $200 each when I bought them. They work great, and are thermostatically controlled. I hope the attachment works...

    Seam Sealer on Floor pans

    Get the black. I used about 2 tubes, and put it on all the seams and welds underneath. It's flexible, so not to crack over time. I put it over the top of the chassis black Por15, and it looks real good. Maybe between coats would have been the best of both worlds...?? :shrug: I sure...

    Air trapped in cooling system

    The way they do it when they build new cars is to pull a vacuum on the system, then introduce the coolant while under vacuum. It's also the way to fill 'er up in 40 seconds. I also saw this used method on American Hot Rod in an episode last year.

    I get mine at Lowes or Home Depot in a 5-gallon can from the paint department. Everything from mineral spirits to tolulene. But, I live in the sticks. Save the can for the old, used fluid. I use mineral spirits for parts washing and laquer thinner for cleaning my paint guns. There are more...

    Just for the record: 1969 Mach 1 with 351W, C4 and Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads. I installed Hedman Elite series. They went in fairly easily. The outside tube barely touched the driver side frame rail. I had to flatten out the brand new ceramic coated tube about 1/4" to get 1/4"...

    They shouldn't be THAT hard to get loose. Not all of them. :shrug: You might soak them a little with penetrating oil, then try again, although on a motor stand, you might not get good enough penetration of the oil. I've had tough ones, but a 6-point socket and breaker bar always gets it...
