    Unplug the MAF to see if it changes it goes in to a fail safe mode or whatever its called if it revs fine you found your problem

    could be the cat might of collapsed if it was hit pretty hard when was the last time you did the spark plug change and what spark plugs did you use I had a similiar issue with my cobra that it would buck when going at slows speeds and would misfire

    Do you have a aftermarket shifter? if you do thats the reason why it whines because the aftermarket shifter transfers more trans noise because of the shock shifter has a harmonic absorber or something like that .

    Guy is an idiot take it to a different smog station I live in California and I never have had an issue smogging the cobra with the mac headers as long as all the smog equipment is hooked up they shouldnt care if it has headers thats what I was told by a smog guy.

    I just have to do smog to my cobra and it sucks to swap up the stock H pipe every two years.Mine is actually bad one of the cats is hollowed out because it was rattleting alot it passed border line the readings where at the exact max levels max level:eek:
