    Needing some quick help

That CAI requires an aftermarket tune. If you did not install one, then reinstall the stock air intake so the engine does not get damaged, and get a tuner and a tune designed for that CAI.

Maybe time to own a 3v

The $JB $horting out i$ major. To help prevent that from happening in the event the car leaks water in that area, tape one end of a piece of polyethylene sheet to the fender's interior wall so it's just a little higher than the top of the passenger side plastic kick panel(SJB is behind this...

Replaced battery, Now Check Engine Light is On

The ECU has to re-learn the idle strategy after the battery is disconnected. 20-50 miles of driving after the battery is reconnected usually gets the erratic idle back to normal. The CEL should also go out when that happens, or soon afterwards. There's also a procedure in the battery...

Battery Dies after 4 days of being parked

Battery Dies after 4 days of being parked

Recharge the battery with a trickle charger. Then, always make sure to manually turn off the radio(switch it to AM/FM mode if it's in CD mode before turning it off) before turning off the engine. If the battery still goes dead, then the radio unit may need to be either repaired or replaced.

    eletrical problems

Check the battery voltage for at least 12.7 V with the engine off, and 14-14.5 V with the engine running. If the 1st one is low, then recharge the battery with a trickle charger. If the 2nd one is low, then the alternator may be bad. However, that normally triggers a CEL. If both are ok...

    Gauges Randomly Shut Off

Suggest having a dealer check the problem, since the car should still be under warranty. Sounds like the problem may be caused by the SJB(smart junction box). It's located behind the kick panel in the passenger's side footwell. Water leaking onto it is the most common culprit. Check if the...

2006 GT accelerates on its own then dies when driving slow

The idle speed normally becomes erratic whenever the battery is either disconnected or replaced. However, it should clear up after 20 miles or so of driving. If not, then there's a procedure in the battery maintenance section of the owner's manual that should facilitate smoothing out the idle...

Brake pedal noise and problems with A/C on

Check for condensation dripping from your car's underside after a few minutes with the A/C on and the engine idling. If not, then the drain pathway may be blocked up, and the condensation may be finding its way onto components that impact the brakes.

How much does ethanol gas effect your tunes?

Pure ethanol has an octane rating of 113, and less BTU/gallon than pure gasoline. E10(10% ethanol) fuel has the octane rating that's posted at the pump. E10 fuel reduces mpg. (Note: Ethanol is prone to absorbing moisture, which will reduce the octane rating. So it's suggested to replace E10...
