    When mine was an auto with only mods being 4.10's it ran a very similiar time. Now it is capable of a low 13 on my d/r's and has beaten my friend in his 02 Formula Firebird LS1 by a car length up to 115mph which ran a 13.4 a week ago. Just get some more mods, drag radials and launch practice :)

    i think it just all depends on what kind of traction you're getting. I prefer my tires to not spin, which is why i just put on drag radials, got tired of stepping on it, and spinning all over the place

    That cant be right, i used a gear calculator and with 4.10's with enough horsepower my car would top out at 186 in 5th at 6200 rpm, obviosly wind resistance wouldnt allow that with my combo lol I've only gotten it to 4800rpm which is 144 mph with my tires/gears and tranny.

    Great job, if it was a truck i'd say it's fantastic, im just not digging it on a Mustang. Very creative way to get rid of the saggy map bags though.

    I'm not sure on this but even at 11 psi, with only a MAF to improve air flow throughout the rest of the engine that it could come anywhere near 450rwhp, in my uneducated opinion it wouldnt surpise me if that car is only in the low 300's. I say 155 but it all depends on tire size, gearing...

    What brand of header gasket do you guys recommend, i think mine is leaking after about 6 months, i tightened up some loose bolts and theres still air leaking out.

    That's what i figured would happen so i turned mine black. Since i have a black ragtop and half of the dash is black i decided to go that route.

    Yeah, its really no biggie, just pull the stuff outta the way and remove the bolts holding the motor in.

    I think it would move around some, so just make some sort of latch to hold it down and you'd be fine.
