    Doesn't the 2013-14 GT500 top out at 200mph or (196.06 mph as tested by Motortrend) with 662hp? I know Ford tweaked the aerodynamics on those cars, but they were mostly done to improve engine cooling.

    That's odd it should fit and I don't see how it could be installed incorrectly. Does the Shelby GT have a different hood? I know the Hertz Shelbys do, but the regular Shelby GT looks like it has a factory Mustang hood with a scoop added. Can you post some pics?

    ^ You cut the center section off completely? I just cut it down so it is roughly the same length as the side tangs. I did not notice any increase in NVH after installing it.

    Seems like you know what you are doing , Brembos package, 3:73s & 6spd is going to give you the best performance for you money.Many will say I'm wrong about the 6spd and that for drag racing an auto is a better choice, but to me a manual is the only way to fly. Good luck and welcome back.

    Any Type Of Decklid Panel Delete?

    Both RTR and CDC make deck lid panes that eliminate the faux gas cap but as far as I have seen they they only come on black, so you would need to have it painted to match.
