    Very nice job man. I already wanted to swap my nitrous for a turbo but I really want to now. Problem is though I'm running way too much compression for forced induction. Just have to wait until I build my next motor.

    The mods you listed aren't going to do much, probably not even enough to feel. But you have to start somewhere and you are on your way. If you want the biggest bang for the buck swap the gears for a set of 3.73s and add a small shot of nitrous.

    Can you really pick up .3 by removing the ps pump. You've got me thinking about deleting mine now. I run 245/45/17s in front on the street when I don't have my slicks/skinnys on. I bet they would be a bi**h to turn with manual steering.

    I know you mentioned it but, PUT IT IN THE TRUNK. That said, take some measurements of what you need and go to your local welding shop. They can custom build whatever bracket is necessary.

    When I bought my car it had a huge dent in the stock hood from a 1" spacer under the GT40 intake. A cowl induction hood solves that prob though.

    With a good lower control arm replacement like Megabite Jrs you will be able to remove the quad shocks and gain a little bit of clearance for a wide rear tire also.

    Even if you have no issues with the install I don't believe the 4cyl trans will hold up very long with the power of a V8 going through it.

    The only experience I have with BBK exhaust products was a set of equal length shorties that were on my car when I bought it.     Not sure exactly how much the blower motor, evaprator and heater weighs but every bit helps. I believe every 100lbs=10hp and .1 sec through the 1/4. No one would notice the sway bar missing but that made mine scary at highway speed so I put it right back on after I removed it. A set of draglites...

    Trash that thing and just run a shorter belt. I took mine off years ago. If you are still running cats get rid of them too, they will clog without the pump.
