    Why fellow fastback People so frumpy?

    even though my mustang is still being restored i wave to every 'classic' car i see... sometimes i don't get a wave back but that could because i'm driving my parents car. either way, i wave, although sometimes its only with one finger.

    1968 Mustang Coupe Help

    the easyest thing would to get a new intake, carb, and headers.. all simple to do, but for the headers u are going to have to get some exhaust work done.

    steel body parts

    i'm having a hard time locating a site that sells all steel body stuff like hood scoops, GT-500 style rear spoilers, and chin spoilers... all i can find are fiberglass stuff, is there anyone out there that sells that kind of stuff? i have a grudge against fiberglass. btw, this is for a 67...

    What is the diameter of my stock 67 steering wheel?

    actually the stock wheel is just about 16.5.. i wouldn't go any smaller than 15" though with MS, i would be to much of a workout just to turn the thing.

    fiberglass front 1/4s

    yea they are on/for a 67. i might not even get rid of them if that helps :). i just have this huge beef with fiberglass, i like metal. it has personality.. 'glass is just so.. always the same temp. and i'm scared i'm gonna brake it if i put any weight on them at all.

    fiberglass front 1/4s

    i'm planing a head a bit so don't get caught without any money and no front 1/4s. the front 1/4s that came with my car were replaced with after market fiberglass (the ones that sell for about 250-300 new), but see i HATE fiberglass... its soo.. meh.. anyway, i was thinking if i sold thoughs ones...

    Oil dipstick removal

    damn.. i just looked at it (it broke last spring when i pulled the motor and i was taking off the annoying parts that stick out). basicly its in there so well that if i didn't know i did it then i wouldn't know its there, its almost dead even with the opening, just one little lip thats about...

    i don't see why everyone is so up tight about cutting the dash. i mean people cut open hoods, 1/4 panels, frames, various body parts.. everything really, yet for some reason everyone is afraid to cut the dash, can some fill me in? its really not that big of a deal

    Oil dipstick removal

    speaking of dip sticks mine broke off in the timing chain cover! better make sure to muscle that out before i finish the rebuild. any tips/tricks on that? the stick tube is broke off inside of the cover, nothing is sticking out.

    Does this budget seem realistic

    people here tend to spent lots of money on their cars. not that thats a bad thing, it does have its payoff majorly. but look at it like i do: i'm 16, poor as a hobo, and am doing a total restoration myself. i've spent about 2k already and minus wheels,tires, and paint i am excpeting another...

    personaly i know when i drive i NEVER look at the 3rd light.. but if you want one go for it. its not like they look bad or anything.

    Look at this 67 Fastback , 67 Coupe , and 70 Mach I found in the woods...

    i wouldn't give up on the ol' girl so fast.. sure shes in rough shape right now, but whats not to say with a lot of TLC that she couldn't be beautiful again (not that shes not already). its needs a lot of work, sure, but its a hell of a lot better than when it was raw steel being molded...

    hmm... so all in all are they worth it? i hear they are suppose to be fairly good, and you can't beat the price. i went for the black ones too, might get them chromed some wheres down the road though. does anyone know if the clutch linkage will be a problem for a 4spd (Toploader)? get some...

    nice, i got those same headers too for my 67/289... cept their not installed due to the car pulled a part.. keep me posted on how they feel!
