FRPP king Cobra: Done :banana: Every one was very helpful and it took 5 hours on Sat., and 5 hours on Sat. The starter wasn't as hard as I thought, it was lining up the spline to the flywheel that kept pissing me off.

:lol: 13 Hours seems kind of long for a clutch removal/install. Unless they are figuring time for errror.

I decided to change the clutch myself, and I know that I want to go with one of FRPP's Clutch kits but im not sure wich one.

Lady friend has a 92 vert w/ a bad starter, so I told her I would swap it out on sun. I never replaced a starter on a fox, are there any warnings?

Recent sqeuak that souds like metal rubbing against rubber sound. I took off the right- front wheal, and moverd the control arm up and down.
It sounds like it's in the spring, Do you think it could be the spring isolaters??
Or something else.

I don't know if its a word but I can't think of any other way to describe it, I'd rather it stay a little stiff, or notchy...what ever word you use the shifter kicks major @$$ :nice:

Yeah, I think that I'm getting used to It already, 2nd gear is more fun to bang arround, I like being able to pull back from 5th & have 4th so close.

After ordering gears I started to wonder, when some people talk about there install, they comment on having spline axels replaced and a locker. What is havin a locker put in?
At first I thought it was being able to lock the front-end @ the track to heat up the rear end. :shrug:
