    Dont tell me dude,,check your facts!! Yes,you can put what ever you want in anything!! Im saying if you bought a Trans Am it came with a Pontiac motor! If you bought a chevy it came with a chevy!! Factory's put there "own" motors in there cars!! Period!

    I Never heard of shorty headers for a 455.No they were not made to accept a chevy motor or anything else.Back then chevy was a chevy,Buick a Buick, Oldsmobile an Oldsmobile ect...... not like today!!

    A stock cam with ported stock heads,1.7 RR's and a GT-40 or Cobra intake will give you exactly what your looking for except for the lumpy idle.But you can make that up with a loud un-catted exhaust system:nice:

    yeah after a year of sitting any debri,dirt, would have alot of time to settle.I dont think the gas will be bad,especially if there was stablizer in it..The fuel filter mite be your ticket :nice:

    If its been sittin a while,yeah,gaskets do dry out,and rubber vaccum hoses get brittle..Did you change the fuel filter?

    The thing with Bassani they keep getting louder and louder.When I first got them on they were decent,but a year later there was a big difference in loudness.I think thats why M.Yount took his off,he wanted it quiet but it kept getting louder!!

    strange 10 ways here to :nice: The best of both worlds!! Stiffen them up for the street,loosen up the fronts for the track!! They handle nice for everyday driving :nice: I have the Eibach drag racing springs also with the air bag!! All Im missing is the Fat and skinnies!!:nice:
