    Run higher octane gas AND pull timing. It will kill your power but should keep it cooler.

    They should still be over 100. My motor is in bad shape and will pull 105-130. I healthy stock motor at 100k miles may be in the 150 range.

    Gimp is open source, so yeah. It's as full featured as Photoshop. Awkward to use since the toolboxes are all over the place. Gimpshop sounds like a good way to get to know Gimp. I've never used it though.

    Sounds like you need to remove it and press it back on properly. But yeah, the threaded hole you see is for the remover/installer tools. No bolts stay in there.

    I don't get that external IC setup at all. How the hell does that work?? Anyway, the most common cooling solution for KB cars that I've seen is meth injection or a small shot of nitrous.

    The distributor did that to me. Something went wrong with it internally. Check for spark with a tester.
