    I would imagine a 1.6 rocker would be the right rocker for those. Too much and you may end up with more issues than power (if you have PV clearance and enough spring for it in the first place)

    Our cars aren't that desirable any more. Someone can get an 05+ for 11-12k if they really wanted. I figure 6-7k. In this economy, I'll be glad to get 4k for mine despite the awesome condition it will be in by the time I sell it.

    Speaking of which, those crate motors look like a really good deal. $6300 for a solid 400hp engine??? I wonder what the PCM, harness, bellhousing etc would run though.

    The 2006+ models are an N/A 4.2L V8 with direct injection. Though they also rev to 8k rpm :rolleyes: It still doesn't change the fact that the low rpm thump of their exhaust is SOOO nice.

    Personally, I wouldn't try welding a stud to the body unless you have a backing plate. If you can manage to do it without burning a big hole in the body, it will still be flimsy. I wouldn't trust it in an accident.
