Do I need to wait on a 75mm TBODY gasket?

Why would you have to wait? Any good speed shop should have 'em hanging there. I'd get some gasket paper and make my own...

    AutoCommand remote car starter

Just remember to set the e-brake. I know remote starters for stick cars require the ebrake to be on in order to set it.

    Outdoor uncovered storage ???

Agreed, don't cover it. Very few, if any, covers are meant for snow coverage and freezing temperatures. Do a good wax job before you park it. Fill the gas tank, throw in the Stabil. I didn't pull my battery last year, just turned off the switch and it was fine. I do an oil change just...

    which head gasket with boost?

You want Cometic (brand name). They're expensive, but after popping some cheapies you'll wish you would have spent the money the first time. Around $130/set.

Drag Springs or NOT? With a scare story.

I've got the eibach drag launch kit, no front swaybar and have skinnies up front. I love the ride of my car. As for handling I don't even think about it. It handles fine IMO. I haven't ran into an emergency situation, but knowing how I've made some turns on yellow lights, I'm not too worried.

    10 Hole Wheel Lover!

Polish then paint. Easier to mask the shiny stuff than to miss the painted stuff with the buffing wheels. The paint, if memory serves me, is ford engine grey.

    10 Hole Wheel Lover!

I had some narrowed 15X5 10 holes. Sold them and got draglites... like someone else said, nobody looks at you with 10 holes. I'd have muscle cars zooming past me to the riced honda civic a few cars ahead, kinda pissed me off that nobody wanted to play with me  Anyways, here they are.

Do i need to fuse my positive wire with a bat in the trunk?

The whole point of the cutoff switch is safety. With out a switch, if the cable from the battery to the starter solenoid grounds out, the only way you can stop it is by removing the cable from the battery. Bye bye car. Running a fused alternator line to the back and running the switch is the...

sub frames, do they really work?

I agree, not much power. But after a couple launches on slicks my door wasn't opening and closing like it used to, so I figured I'd better do the sfc's.

sub frames, do they really work?

Well, I didn't notice too much of a difference. It was a piece-of-mind thing for me, I didn't want to twist my car. I was hoping for a noticeable difference but it just wasn't there. My car did start rut hunting like a bastard with bias ply's on the back. With the car tied together the back...

Do i need to fuse my positive wire with a bat in the trunk?

Are you making this car track legal? ie - cutoff switch. If so, you'll need to run the alternator wire to the back of the car as well. This is the wire that should be fused, as close to the alternator as you can.

putting it on a dyno next week, what to expect

Depending on the boost level and the dyno (Mustang, dynojet) I'd guess 430rwhp.

Do i need to fuse my positive wire with a bat in the trunk?

You'll want to fuse it as close to the alternator as you can.

    5.0L V8 vs Rx-8?

I've never seen such a pathetic show as that RX-8. I had the local Mazda dealership owner's son pull beside me at a light. He was reving like crazy for the launch. When I launch on the street I come out just off idle and hammer it, my car doesn't spin at all. By the time I was going for...

    Begining TIG Welding Classes

I was thinking the exact same thing. I highly doubt aluminum would be allowed in this application and with the cost of it these days you'd probably be looking at a $2000 rollbar, just for the tubing.

    175RWHP and 246LBFT

On what dyno though? Dynojet or Mustang? If it was done on a mustang dyno then the numbers are pretty good for being an auto with few mods.

Bat in the trunk.how much Amp for the fuse on the + wire?

150 amp is fine and definitely use 1/0 wire... welding cable. Fusible link... if you can solder 1/0 cable you're a better man than I. As for the fuse, I run the mega fuse brand stuff. evparts.com carries an awesome holder that bolts down the fuse and the lugs from the cable and it's about $17.
