    That cam has a 114 LSA so shouldn't have taken much to tune it w/SD. I have not owned a SD car so I'm guessing when you say it was tuned for the cam your talking about a chip? Can you post your time slip (or write down) so we can see how it was driven. Where is timing and fuel pressure set...

    Yes the 2040 w/1.7s will clear with room to spare. Intake opens 0.05" at 0 degree TDC (basically intake starts opens as piston is on way down) and exhaust closes at TDC (0.05). TFS-1 will outperform the E, the 6037s are good heads but don't flow as well on exhaust as say TWs or AFRs...

    That number is probably something like a run # they used, has nothing to do with type of head. The casting # E7TE is what tells you what you head you have but chambers varied ever so slightly through the years.

    Exhaust Dilemma

    There are many many brands of long tubes that will fit your car; bassani, hooker headers, BBK, MAC, etc. A 347ci with AFR205s (good choice) is definitely calling for atleast 1 3/4" headers. If you don't mind spending $$ for a real good set get the Bassani. Hooker Header makes a decent set too...
