    What is the fastest 05 on street radials?

    Just wondering. There is a local guy that is running 12.90 at 108mph on street radials tires. I believe this is the fastest 05 Mustang GT in the country on street tires and bolt-ons. I'm not a fan of the 05 but his car is pretty nice. :nice:

    It's interesting that you said that because the tech that installed my clutch-flywheel said the MAF meter was showing lean. I think that I'll try that. I also am having the shop that has the car replace the right front O2 sensor also.

    Preliminary Number from Project 2VNA-10

    I've read that the Gt crank failes at high rpms unless its forged to handle the rpms. Power has nothing to do with it. Thats why the Cobra crank is forged due to the 7000 rpm redline of the Cobra. Isn't that right?

    Humidity playes a big factor in how a vehicle performs. The more humidity the denser the air is. Less oxygen molecules for combustion, thus poor engine performance. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

    From what I've read so far I don't think anyone really whinned about the small displacement of the GT. It's a lack thereof that makes a difference. As said earlier the GT launchs better and has decent gearing that gives it the advantage off the line. And whether you want to admit it or not...

    LT's with a good tune and advanced timing will go good to get some low end trq. Off course not having PI heads could be the bottle neck in your combination.
