    I think the Eleanor coupe looks OK. I have a 67 coupe that Im going to put the Eleanor front end and hood on..It looks a little more racey than the factory stuff and not that much more expensive if you have to replace all of the front body and hood components anyways.

    Relocate HVAC?

    Take it loose and try putting it where the CD player is now. There is some slack in the cables. I have taken mine apart before when I was checking for fitment of a custom gauge panel that I wanted to put in the slot where the HVAC controls were.

    Spec clutches?

    Heck with the Spec! For a stage II equivalent get a better series Zoom or Centerforce! Or at least get a FRPP King Cobra. Spec sucks. Nearly everyone that has installed one recently regrets it.. Less than 20K miles and its already time for a change.

    Sounds like BS to me. I guess it depends on the shop and insurance company. Sometimes those shops want to get cheap replacement parts to save money and it takes awhile. Maybe its a stall tactic while they are waiting to get cheaper parts.
