    salvaged it from a junker. its been working great since the install. those bolts on the retaining strap are quite the bitch. Thank you haus and 347Ho for getting back to me so quick. I am very novice and when I saw that crud in there I thought it seemed important.

    Gang- I am replacing the fuel tank sending unit and i noticed in the electrical connection a goop that must act as some sealant or insulator. What is it, where can I get more to apply it to my new sending unit's connection. Thanks all - Dan

    its actually not that bad doing it manually, but i wholly regret not replacing the motor when it went out. in a few years when the top needs replacing I am going to have to do the whole assembly too.

    its not, that is the way electric pumps are. i strongly encourage anyone with a vert who's motor konks out to replace it right away. moving the top up and down manually is always bends, cracks or snaps something and you'll end up spending more in the long run.

    stiffen up the frame as much as possible. a strut tower brace is cheap and makes a huge difference.

    oh yea - to answer your question, you don't have to cut any trim, just bend the seat a bit and cut into the carpet. my seat belt retractors are a little shot and the roll bar causes a bit of a pinch on the belt, aside from that no complaints and lots of compliments.

    you can. go to the magnaflow site and see their selection. I always thought the angle cut ones were pretty sick. On a second note though, I have 3' tailpipes and i can't decide if they look dorkily big or not. Are you sure you want them?
