    Which Mufflers to go with?

    I went with the Borla’s (they do cost more). They are not as loud as some brands you will see a performance and mileage difference. Add a Bassani X pipe and you have a sweet sounding Stang.

    I would check with some local shops to see how they do the inspections for your year model. Thats what I did and I found my best bet was to go with CAT's.

    Lowering springs

    If the car has C spring then it has been lowered just not as much as some of the other brands. My original configuration had the Eibachs but I liked the look of the C's better, but that’s opinion. :flag:

    weird nose, squeak, coming from back right of car.

    I had a squeek in my GT. It truned out being a bracket that needed to be adjusted. The way we found it was I had someone push on the car (making it go up and down), then I was able to look under the car to locate the sound.

    Aftermarket Car Alarm

    Go with Lojack, I had an aftermarked alarm system on my LX and one day when I came home from work it was gone. The car was found three months later stripped. All the aftermarked alarms are good for is making noise.....

    I had that same problem once after washing the engine. I drove the car for about 20 minutes and everything was back to normal. Sounds like you might have water some where it should not be.

    Which Tires to Get

    I went with Kumhos, they are a good daily driver tire. I dirve over 80 miles round trip for work. They have been installed for over a year now and they still have good tread.

    C springs and Caster/Camber 99+GT

    I had C/C installed on my 98GT, the shop was not able to aligned the car correctly. I should have done it when I installed the C springs.

    Off road H voids warranty???

    hmmmm forgot he was talking about an off road H pipe. I have cats on my X pipe and the Ford guys never question it.
