    A friend of mine had an escort just like yours 5speed wiht the 1.8 mazda motor. He put a homemade exhaust and cold air on it and got a short throw and he ran low 16's which is respectable for what it was. And it was dead reliable and knocked down great gas mileage.

    I have an "autogauge" auto meter tach and I have the ground,light and power wire hooked up. Now how do I tap into the negative side of the coil?

    I have an "autogauge" autometer tach. Everything seems hooked up fine. I have the ground hooked up,the tach feed that goes into the coil wire splinced into the coil wire,the light on a switched circut in the fuse box and same with the red power wire that I'm assuming powers it up. Now it...

    tire help!!!

    A friend of mine put 275/50/15's on his lowered '89 GT and we had to beat the inner wheelwells. But since the car is lowered it rubs if you hit a decent bump.

    I just put on my catted BBK X and shorty headers and with my race bullets it has that screamy sound that I love sounds great!

    I think white centers would look good with the white exterior of the car. Plus there's not a whole lot of white on white cars.

    Have a video or anything of your car by chance? I'm not a fan of straight exhaust(I ran around on an open stock H for a few days and hated it) But if you like it and enjoy it that's all that matters.
