    I wouldn't do it on an LX the stock grill looks awesome. I would only put the grill insert on a GT.

    I got my '89 stock 100% original. Still had the original plug wires,exhaust,gears,air silencer, etc.

    I have to say it's nice seeing your progress and that you haven't given up on the car despite multiple setbacks. It'll be done before you know it . I like the black engine bay but if that's not what you asked for you better talk to the painter.

    With the new tune you should definetly be in the 12's if you ripped a 13.0 earlier. i'd love to see a pic of your car with draglites on all corners so I know exactly what mine will look like when i get my set. :nice:

    I just looked at it your car sounds good :nice: Looks like i have some spintechs in the future. over the winter i'm going to try to get my heads then I'll order the spintechs and some polished tails.

    I'm thinking about changing my cat back. I have BBK shorties,Catted X,and race bullets welded into my dynomax catback. The car sounds good but i think it could personally use a better tone. Right now I'm considering spintechs or mac's. What would you guys put on a x-pipe car?

    BBK clutch cable

    I bought the BBK kit. The quadrent and firewall adjuster are nice pieces. And I never had a problem with the BBK cable i had over 2000 miles on mine and not a single problem it's actually now on my buddies car without an issue.

    Your car is really clean it looks sweet. I love the 86 tailights I put a set on my 89 and never looked back they look better than the typical LX lights.

    TTT tried yesterday to adjust everything from scratch. I had the fire wall adjuster in multiple spots,as with the cable and results didn't change. I even used RAM's method that they recommended and still nothing changed. Could this be a problem with the clutch itself.

    Yes it's a 5.0 pedal assembly and no I don't have a stock style cable around just a ford racing and a BBK adjustable .

    That was the first thing I tried. Took all slack out of everything but didnt pre load it and still the same thing. clutch wont start to disengage until the pedal is about 3/4 of the way down.
