True brake light mystery...a puzzle for everyone..Please help me

Boy that is some bad troubleshooting practice! Please DO NOT pop fuses in to find shorts. This is absolutely the WRONG way. There are very easy ways to find shorts for free (fuses cost money, a hassle, and this way can cause other potential failures). EDIT: I just seen this in your post. I AM...

    noisy rear

When you changed the bearings did you go through all the set-up again? Or did you just change the bearings out? You would have needed to do a complete rear set-up, with a new crush sleeve, doing the pinion depth & pre-load etc, etc, etc...

True brake light mystery...a puzzle for everyone..Please help me

Since the spoiler was removed and then the problem started, look there first. There is the wires that run through the hatch and into the spoiler for the third brake light. I bet that is the problem. If not, check around the switch and harness. The bulbs not being popped means nothing actually...

For guys with Cages, What did you use for a Harness

FWI, if you have aftermarket seats you will have to have a harness that attaches to the cage somewhere. Some tracks really inforce this but most don't check for street cars. As for where/how to mount them, it kind of depends on the harness you get. You can get some that are cage mount and some...

how can i tell what my stock gears are?

+1 or the door was changed. The best way to tell is jack the rear up and count the number of times the driveshaft turns compared to the tire.

I don't remember my FRPP or my Cranes coming with instructions. Pro Comp usually has great customer service, but there rockers aren't good.

    throw out bearing

+1 The throw-out bearing attaches to the fork. The fork attaches to a pivot stud. The cable attaches to the other end of the fork which sticks out of the bellhousing on the drivers side.

    IAC Adjuster

Not saying you did, but there is a right way and a wrong way to jump a vehicle. Most people do it the wrong way. This can cause all sorts of electrical/electronic problems. Also there is a right and many many wrong ways to relocate the battery. Do a search for the battery relocation and you will...

    led lights in tail lights?

Again people need to not think that just because a fox only has one bulb that it can't be done...and done rather easily. Reguardless of standard mount or surface mount leds all you have to do is pcb them up w/the supporting electronics and microcontroller. You then only use the fox wiring as an...

    led lights in tail lights?

haha $50 for 25 cents worth of stuff. I buy all my leds directly from the manufacturer in China. The technology that is going on right now with leds & oleds is crazy. As far as the sequential thing goes, a fox only having one bulb doesn't matter at all when you are doing it with led's. You...

Change C&L to PRO-M. Will I need new tune?

Chances are the tuner that did the SCT would have thrown you a great deal on a SCT MAF and a retune for it. I know ours does.:nice:

I am not a fan of having to put something on or using a band-aid to fix a problem, so do the link jrichker posted and eliminate most of the issues asociated with surges. With that being said, I had to use one on my dd 347 and it fixed my problem right away. I had went through everything...

    heater core madness

I am a little confuse here. From reading your original post it sounds like you changed the heater core thinking it was going to fix your "no-heat" problem. If that is the case you did all that work for nothing. Heater cores leak in the floor-board, mist on the windshield, and leak out of the ac...

Looking for some ideas on what to do with my Upper Intake

I just painted my upper with some left over paint from my car. I bead-blasted the lower and left it @ that. If I had it to do over again, I would without a doubt go black on the upper.

    led lights in tail lights?

I run store bought l.e.d's in my tails. I have been working on making my own programmable l.e.d. tails and turns though. I have the program written, the microcontroller loaded, and the l.e.d.s breadboarded. Everything works. I just need to mock it all up in the spare housings I bought 6 months...
