    zex ?

:notnice: I think Brenspeed sells junk/returned/demo/something Zex parts. 2 of my buddies bought Zex stuff from them. One got a bad gauge & a nozzle that had a broken jet mount and the other buddy got a NMU that was bad. I have always bought my Zex parts from Zex or Summit.

    zex ?

That sux. Did you buy directly from Zex or through a retail store? I like their TC switch but I always go with the MSD window switch because they are only $80 and I have a box full of the rpm pills. You can usually find them used on Ebay for about $40.

Change C&L to PRO-M. Will I need new tune?

I agree....definately if it is a burned chip tune and not just some dyno time with wrenching. MAF's are different (if they weren't you wouldn't be thinking about a Pro-M). Since they are different the tuning is going to be wrong from MAF 'a' to MAF 'b' or one that is having issues to a "quality"...

At what ET do you need a cage?

Any car running 13.99 or quicker w/slicks or a D.O.T. approved slick must use a d/s loop. Also it depends on how the track techs the car. Some are thorough. Some aren't.

To help you out a bit, the first thing you need to do is determine what your goals are, determine your budget, and then stick to them.

help me pick 351 or 393

:nonono:There are so many things wrong with that post....and so many things I would like to explain for your benefit, but you just don't want to hear anything but 351 or 393 (as so nicely noted by the cap-lock).

At what ET do you need a cage?

FWI, they have changed the rules reguarding helmets & d/s loops I forget what else changed that might apply to a street/strip car. My 2009 NHRA rulebook is at the office.

    Injector question

Yes, you can get a fuel injector service kit at about any parts store. You will need 2 kits as I believe 1 kit does 4 injectors. The kit will come with pintle caps, o-rings & filters.

help me pick 351 or 393

Thats an awesome response to people who are trying to help you . Like mentioned already, 1. Its not like you asked 351 or 393 and we gave 460 stroker sizes. We stuck to the 351 based engine. Just like if you would have asked 302 or 306, most would have said 331/347. Its kind of logical don't...

You've got to be kidding me.......

lol yeah I am pretty sure that is the same car that was on Ebay a few weeks ago. I called and got some bs about a title....you can file for a lost title, I have done it. I am baffled about it. Surely as dumb as a theif is, they wouldn't part a stolen car out on Craigslist....ok maybe they would....

help me pick 351 or 393

Why stop at a 393? How about a 408 or 427? As long as your gonna do it, invest a little more up front, and have a lot more fun in the return.

is there a conversion kit from auto to standard transmission for a 1989 5.0 mustang

Where do you live. My buddy has a 91 GT 5spd that is a parts car. We took the TKO & related parts out but the pedal assembly and what-not is still there. I know he will sell anything on it....but some things he will not remove, you would have to come and pull it yourself.

    Cross pin retaining bolt

Your local Ford dealer will have the pin for about $10 and the bolt for about $2. I always replace both when I do gears.
