Tinted Windows, . . .Yay or Ghey?

I have gotten decent results doing it myself back when I was younger and broke, but now for $150 3M tint lifetime warranty against fading, peeling, bubbling, basically everything but scratching it up...no way I am doing it myself

Tinted Windows, . . .Yay or Ghey?

:rlaugh: I'm not "old" yet, getting there (34), but yeah its a mutha sometimes backing up in pitch black darkness. Nothing like rolling the window down and hanging your head out to see.

    DD a clean stock fox?

Hell yes dd a fox...I do and I drive it like I stole it (of course it is a 347 w/spray). I do however drive the 4x4 or fwd when it actually snows. My dd is in the youtube link in my sig.

    Subframe Connectors

It shouldn't matter because springs somewhat are independent from the subframes. I say somewhat because if you lower the car ghetto style and not the correct way you could cause the car to sit a little crooked/cocked thus putting the uni-body in a slight bind which is definately not what you...

    Rear gears?

What exactly do you want to know for? The gear size, make, or what? There is metal tag attached to a bolt on the rear cover that gives the stock gear (if it was still there chances are the rear was completely stock and you could go by that coding). Or you could mark a tire and the driveshaft and...

scared about getting a dyno tune

First off, as long as you are going to a good reputable shop you don't have anything to worry about. The first thing they will do is give you a waiver to sign and a paper to declare that it is mechanically sound and has oil, blah blah blah. It will ask you everything about the engine and fuel...

    Power tables please

I found a working cracked version of desktop dyno 2003 w/the drag app on a Lightning website just the other day.

    Elect. Power Distribution Help needed

As for the trunk, look at the current & length of wire needed and just send one lead back there and split it of with a distibution block or something similar (1000 watts of stereo eqip. at that length is gonna need more than 4 AWG) then do each ground into 1 ground and ground to the frame rail...

347 dyno numbers are in! (finally)

Is Cincy Speed Shop kind of close to an old distillery of some kind? Right off the Interstate/hwy? Its been a few years but when I picked up the hood for my dd....which btw is a whole other story/adventure:rolleyes: we had to kill some time and those guys didn't mind us one bit window...

Relieving fuel pressure with no tools?

Yep, me too....there is a shrader valve on the hard fuel line kind of behind the alternator. It probably has a black cap on it. Just press the valve core in like you are letting air out of a tire. BE CAREFUL and wear safety glasses or better yet goggles. Gas in the eyes sux!!!!

New TF heads, the head bolts keep breaking

As already asked, Are you using any lube or the correct lube? Are you sure those are the correct torque numbers? Are you sure that the threads in that one hole are clean and not gaulled up? Bolts shearing are usually caused by improper lube and over-torqueing. I would definately suspect the rest...

    Buyer beware: My buyfordracing.com experience...

I like to hear good and bad about companies as well, but the point I was trying to make is the thread is fine but in no way should it be a sticky. I admit the liabiliy thing may be a little over the top and not very likely but it was more the principle of the statement about the Stangnet mods...

    Buyer beware: My buyfordracing.com experience...

Let me stress again, because I know I will get flamed on here....The o/p was upset about the purchase and rightfully so, I would have been. And his customer service recieved was not professional at all, but.... You can't use that as an excuse...everyone of us has had a bad experience from one...
