Welcome to the forum! I have a couple friends with Subarus in HI. I always wondered why a place with no snow would warrant the need for AWD:shrug: but then my friend sent me pictures of him off-roading one on the side of a volcano and I said hell yes!!!! You should definitely look for a...

    New pony in the stable

Welcome! Thanks for joining the forum and enjoy your stay! You will LOVE the combo of the Borlas and JLT/SCT tuner. It will feel and sound like a whole new car! Let me know if you have any questions in the future!

    A noob from Texas

We would definitely recommend that you upgrade the CAI and get a tuner to properly calibrate for it. You're looking at an additional 30RWHP and 30RWTQ just by upgrading these, as well as night/day difference in throttle response, driveability and all around performance. Give the Bama team a...

    whats up guys

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have a great 'Stang! I would pull the entire gauge cluster and make sure everything is connected properly and there are no funny, disconnected wires. You may have gears in the car, but that would not explain your RPMS being off. I hope this helps...

    SCT LiveWire Tuner

The LiveWire is a great tool to not only tune your car with, but monitor your car's vitals and performance with as well! If you want something that will allow you to monitor operating perimeters of the car AND tune the car, the LiveWire is a great choice! You can't change tunes on the...

Trying to pick out a clutch

LarsD, The Ram powergrip HD you posted from our site kicks-ass! It will hold all the 400whp launches you can throw at it, but since it is a full-face clutch, it will not turn your left leg into a body-builder's. The good news is that it is in stock and ready to ship. If you ordered today...

I need to replace my Shifter, Automatic v6

How big/bad is the actual hole? Can you take a picture of it and post it, so that we can see what you are working/dealing with? The TCi shifter would be an awesome solution if the hole isn't outrageously large. Get back to me and let me know, I am pretty good at solving problems like this!

    Thinking about replacing my Balancer

Thanks for the inquiry! One of our employees has a Professional Products Powerforce dampener his super-charged '95 GT with 500+whp and he loves it! It really smoothed out the "kick" the s/c causes on the stock rotating assembly in low RPM or wind-down of the motor after a pull. His has...

How much of a difference does a tune make?

The S197's get a lot of benefits from a good tune. Your throttle response will be noticeably better, and you'll be able to make the most of your CAI. The pedal maps are more aggressive, and you'll gain about 30 hp and 28 tq at the ground with 93 octane and a race tune. All of our tunes are...

    PLEASE HELP.....Pulled some codes

Welcome to the board! There are a couple of things that could be causing your computer to throw all these codes at once. If you'll list the code numbers for me, and the year of the car, we'll be able to help you a little better.

    Mustang Build Sheets??

Newer Mustangs (and Fords in general, it seems) don't have a build sheet like older models do. Ford has switched to putting most of the same information on the window sticker. Your local For service department should be able to reprint a window sticker for you, though.

    Shock and Strut Replacement

Most manufacturers recommend shock/strut replacement at 50,000 miles, depending on your driving style. However, I am a big believer in not fixing things that aren't broken. If your shocks and struts aren't rusted through, leaking, or letting you shake all over the road, you don't really have to...

    ford truck guys--Help!

I'm not sure which piece of the assembly you need, exactly, but this should help. This is from a 2006 F150, but 2004-2008 should be the same. You should be able to get one less expensively through a salvage yard or a you-pull-it, rather than going through a dealer for it. You might be able to...

    Water pump gasket leak

A small amount of copper RTV on the gasket is your best bet (it's in the same section as all the silicone sealants, it's easy to find). You could use red, black, or copper, but the copper won't break off and clog the coolant system like silicone might.

    american muscle discount code

Your best bet is to send me a pm. AMNick was promoted a while back and I took over from him. He forwards his pms over to me, so they get answered. It takes a little longer to hear back if you send a pm to him, though, because he only sends discount code requests over to me a few times a month...
