    Pulling 5.0 and trans

Radiator is already removed. The transmission is automatic. Is it hard to remove the shifter for that?

    Pulling 5.0 and trans

I am in the process of pulling my 5.0 and the trans. Its the first time I have done it so I am going slow to make sure I did it right. So far I have disconnected most everything on the engine. I also relieved the fuel pressure and removed the gas tank altogether. The exhaust is removed...

    which hand-held tuner?

XCal2 can do all those changes very easily. Go to www.sctflash.com and put in your zip code and it will tell you the local dealers in your area. Call around and get pricing with a custom dyno tune. IMO that is the best way to go. Just make sure the person tuning your car is knowledgeable. A...

    Ford Racing Power Packs

No matter who the dealer is I am not a fan of the canned tunes. Each of these cars are different even if they have the exact same mods. I still say if you are going to tune shop around for a good custom tuner and get that done. I ended up paying $500 for an XCal2 and custom dyno tune package...

    87/89/93 Octane

93 without a tune is a waste. However, I have a tune for 93 and notice some pretty good gains. Tough to say though if the gains come from the 93 octane. Most likely all the gains are from my CAI and exhaust. Basically when they were tuning my car for the mods they pushed up the octane to 93...

150 wet kit on stock motor, safe?

There is no way he is even reaching 7500 RPM unless he he totally got rid of the rev limiter doing his own tune. The stock rev limiter is around 6500 and most tuners raise it to like 6700 - 6900 RPM.

install help on axleback slp kit

I'd say an hour too but most of that is just getting them lined up correctly. The stock axle back is held on by four bolts and one clamp per muffler. I am not sure how the SLP installs but most likely it will use the same hanging hardware. The four bolts that hang the mufflers are located...

Does the 2005+ go in the snow?

I personally have not driven mine in the snow but I heard that if you HAVE TO drive it in the snow and you can get a set of good snow tires you should be fine. IMO though, go out and invest like $1000 into a beater and save yourself and your Mustang the headaches of winter.

    Got a blower....what gauges do I need?

Definatly get an oil gauge. I prefer a mechanical one so you don't need a sending unit. They are more accurate.

    About other car forums

Isn't it also true that AWD is great for launches but other than that it sucks b/c you loose much more HP to that kind of a drivetrain than you would to a RWD car?

    About other car forums

Don't get me wrong, I definatly give the STI credit. I certainly wouldn't mind driving one. The thing I was saying though is that I feel as though if you want to make crazy HP you are limited with any 4 cyl. The STI and EVO blocks are strong and you can put 30 psi from what I know in them and...
