Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

Fair enough! Just as you explained, I also have been trying to say that, for what he wants to do, a blower is a better choice to concentrate on. This will yield him the kill he is looking for. Nitrous is also a good candidate for this. The tranny he has will hold up to another 100 hp with no...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

So, In your opinion and from what you've seen posted, these mods don't work! You may be right! What I find funny is that you are going by hearsay! You stated that people have dynoed their cars with these mods on them and have said they don't work? Have you actually seen these dyno sheets? What...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

YESSSSSSS!!!!! I'm glad someone finally got what I've been trying to say! Again, Hotstang, I apologize for being so rude! Maybe I was just having a bad day and you walked into my sights! I'll try not to let it happen again! Winters? Don't give up! You have every right to your opinion just...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

I see, and you have dyno sheets to substantiate all these HP corrections? Yes, I'm new to mustangs but not new to how a car works and how to make power or is ford so far ahead of everyone else that engine and trannies in other cars don;t apply! I was trying to be conservative in what the stock...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

NOW you're thinking!!!! Not to say this is THE way of building up a car but this is how I'm doing it! First, thing I did was decide how I wanted to drive the car! Did I want to Drag it? Road Race it? Cruise it? This helped me determine what general parts that I would need to get me to my...

Cold air kit is it worth it?

I agree with Winters but then again I haven't done the mod but from what I've read it would seem to me that the only thing really giving you a performance boost is the added flow the K & N filter gives you! The whole debate about engine bay air versus fenderwell air is BS. YOU WILL NOT NOTICE...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

It was the only way that it seemed to get your attention! OK so your going FI! Do you know what type and how big you're going to go? If you're so certain you are going this route than you need to plan it out BEFORE you go spending a chunk of change on a tranny. What happens if the blower(BTW...

Talked to AMP PERF... what do you think of their recomendation?

I see, so in essence what you are telling me is that my opinion is not informative or knowledgeable? I'm sorry if I came off a little hostile but I'm so sick of people who come on asking for advice and then just disregard it only listening to what they want. Granted, I understand it's your car...

Take a look at the post count on this and the last post I just made! Notice anything? Yes, they are the same post count! Way to go Sherlock! I'm not saying that your tranny swap won't do anything but have you read your own posts? You want to try and kill Bentley GT's! You ain't going to do it...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

Actually, Fikse is sponsoring me on the Nova build I'm doing but I would have to pay dealer prices for the wheels which comes out to around $2300 just for the wheels but they are VERY light! I think they are around 17 lbs each! :nice: I think list for those comes out to around $6,000...

Just got off the phone with Jason at MM and he confirmed that they will clear my BB kit. I also wish they made a 9.5 wide version. That would be perfect! John

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

OK! Now that the dust has settled.....:rlaugh: The plan is 18's! Any suggestions for some light, cheap, wheels that will clear big brake calipers? Traditional 5 spokes kind of like the cobra R's! The plan for the tires is BFG KDW's rear 275/40/18. The ones I have on now are 275/45/18 and...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

Hypercoils. 450 in front and 350 in back. Mind you, I still have an inch adjustment down on the LCA pick up points on the K-Member and the coilovers are adjustable so I can lower the car that way too although right now the bumpsteer feels just right so I'll probably stay with the Front LCA...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

Any suggestions from the man in the know? LOL!:D I'm going to run 18's but I want to fill the well. The 18's on the rear are fine and even under hard cornering don't rub so I think I may stick with those but I'd like a little less sidewall maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch less. For the fronts I'd...
