New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

DD? Daily Driver? Huh? Rear wheels are 275/45/18. Same with the front. Wheels are 9.5" wide. I installed some of the stuff from the MM Max Grip Box I have and F'ed up and forgot that the Wilwood Superlite 6 Big Brake kit won't fit the stock wheels I have in the car so my friend Rodger let...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

Exactly! Once you get past the whole "Ghetto Fabulous" stigma and really look at it you realize that those wheels look good filling out the wheel wells! And ya know the ladies love it and, at the end of the day, isn't that part or most of the reason we build up our cars?:D So, I...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

Thanks! It's a custom full chassis with Z06 Corvette drivetrain and suspension! Z06 Drivetrain consists of LS7 All aluminum engine 505 hp N/A with a 6 speed transaxle for better weight distribution. Should handle pretty nicely on the track!:D John

I hear ya' and I agree! I think they are a tad big which is why I wanted to see some 20's all around! I think they will look perfect for the look I'm going for on the street! John

BFG Sponsorship They're sponsoring me for the build I'm doing on a '66 Chevy Nova! This is my friend Rodgers '03 GT with 18's and an MM Max Grip Box! I like it but it but the wheels look too small to me! John

    Suspension kit questions.

If you're not going to be tracking(Road Racing or Auto-Xing) the car very often, say once or twice a year, then I would go with the Tokico D-Specs and Steeda Sport springs. This way you can adjust the ride stiffness and height. If you're going to be tracking the car more than that then you...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

20's on the front and 22's on the back! I think, for as big as the wheels are, he pulled it off! I think they are a tad big still but it doesn't bother me! What I'm really looking to do is to fill out the wheel well when I'm cruising the car. When I'm racing it I don't care as performance...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

I would comment on how narrow minded and stupid your comments were but after reviewing my first post I'm the dumbass for posting the 20 + so, sorry, I should have been more clear! What I really meant was 18" - 20". I like to road race the car so, as I mentioned in my first post, I'm finally...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

OMFG! Every one but the first pic looks HORRIBLE!!!! If they dropped the first one a couple inches it would look pretty cool! I just want to really fill the wheel wells when I'm just cruising it! I saw a pic of a black GT with 22's in the back and 20's in front that actually looked...

New Edge(1999-2004) Mustang Owners with 20" + Wheels!

I'm looking to buy some wheels for my 2003 GT that I'm putting a Maximum Motorsports Max Grip Box Kit on that will lower it 1 1/2" - 2 inches. For the track I'm going to run 17" wheels with some BFG R1's but for street I'd like to run 20" + wheels. Can you post a pic of your ride with them on...
