    What type of howl or noises are you guys talking about? These are new so I want to be sure to listen for the right thing and just be paranoid. To tell you the truth I never paid much attention before the gear swap, and usually always had my radio up.

    It's a dealer item, and some have it included already. It may cost you a few hundred bucks, but it could potentialy save you thousands of dollars, as it did w/ me. The sad part is that I didn't even know I had it (it was our 1st car purchase).

    Get the Gap Insurance!! I can't stress that enough. If some freak'n moron totals your car, and they don't have insurance you won't be out of what your insurance does not pay. This happened to my wife and I and the Gap insurance saved us a ton of money.

    Nope. No adjustment required. Just pulled out the oversize 3.27s, and installed the 3.73s. We did all the work in my garage.

    My buddy is a licensed mechanic, so he did most of the work. All in all it took about 5 hrs. He had the torque wrenches, air comp, pneumatic drives, and I supplied the rest of the tools. If it wasn't for him I would have paid to do it.

    Which 40 series?

    I have an '01 GT but I want to change out the mufflers. My question is which part number 40 series should I get? The 42541, or the 42543? What is the difference? Thanks.

    will '03 cobra exhaust on '01 GT??

    Will a stock '03 Cobra catback work on an '01 GT? Quick question as I have an oppurtunity to get my hands on this pretty cheap compared to buying just the Flowmaster mufflers.
