    Clutch Pedel Woe's

No offence, but have you guys not read my post? I said it was a bobcat clutch pedel assembly. I don't care whether or not you think it needs to be drilled, this is what I have and what's going to be used, I was only looking for a little help as to where the pivot point was. I know this is...

Throtle Valve connector broke, ford part number?

Thank you very much. I'll stop by the dealer tomorrow and see if that's it.

Throtle Valve connector broke, ford part number?

Yesterday the plastic connector that holds the throtle valve cable to the underside of the throtle body broke. Not the throtle cable mind you, the one that goes to my AOD. I was able to tie it back on well enough to get home and hit up the junkyards today but couldn't find one. I recall...

    Clutch Pedel Woe's

Common, someone has to know where the clutch piviot point is in reference to the brake piviot point.

    Clutch Pedel Woe's

Well, my II is a 78 and the clutch pedel assembly came from a 78 bobcat, not a II. I'm pretty sure that's my problem. I just want to make do with what I have instead of trying to find a mounting assembly for a manual II. The one I got the pedels from isn't at the junkyard anymore.

    Clutch Pedel Woe's

Allright, so I'm going form a 2.8L w/ C3 to a 2.3L Turbo w/ T5. We don't get a lot of mustang II's out here at the junkyards but there was one a few months ago that had a manuel in it. I grabbed the pedels, brake and clutch. A week ago I went to put them in and discovered that the auto...

    I surrender

If you do decide to part it out I'd be interested in the Vam, ECU, tail lights, and gills valve.

Check out http://www.boltswashersscrews.com/ Maybe not an individual head, but at least something not very common.

Anyone with a drill and a tap can make the hole. I'm not quite sure about getting a speciality head bolt.

    Uuurrrrggggg!!!!

You could always have a hole drilled in them and have the wheel taped then get a bolt for each one that requires a special tool, if done right it woan't look bad. This way if someone tries to steal them they end up breaking them, you have to replace them anyways, but at least you have the...

    Should I keep my Stang?

I agree with Willy. In addition, you already know the pecularities of your stang, a new car has it's share of problems that need tackled. I've always felt that it's best to keep a car and keep fixing it, then to buy another one. Eventually that other one will have problems too. It's cheaper...

Make sure you post if that fixed your problem, or if you did figure it out. Too many times during a search I find a post with someone having the same problem I have, but no solution or update if the solution offered fixed the problem.

Your main prosponder's gone or your spark plug wires are too long. Simple as that. But really, it sounds like the door switch has gone south. You can try to remove it and see if that helps, I think it's a 1/2" socket on the switch part in the door jam, then you can pull it out from the...

Turbo 2.3 Mustang II oil pan

I have some pictures, I'll see what I can do about posting them tonight or tomorrow, I'm heading to work now. The original engine was the 2.8 so I'll have to hit up the junk yard and get another pan, pickup and oil pump. If someone has a spare pan they'd like to sell I'd be interested...

Turbo 2.3 Mustang II oil pan

Turbo 2.3 Mustang II oil pan

I have a very nicely prepped engine bay making room (lol) for a 2.3 turbo that I just rebuilt and painted. Everything looks great. I went to put the engine in today only to realize that the oil pan is hitting the part of the frame that the steering rack is bolted to. The engine is out of an...

piston rings, determine top from bottom

Their hastings brand. One does have a bevel and the other is square, so the beveled one goes on the bottom and the other on the top, cool, thanks.

piston rings, determine top from bottom

I was going to start putting my engine back together today, but when I opend the box of piston rings I noticed 2 different types (not counting the oil one's). The instructions told me which direction they go but not which one is the top and which is the bottom. One set of rings is dark in...

Differences in block years 83-86 86-88

It's the square intake, I'll have to check on the valve cover but I think it's the finned one.

Differences in block years 83-86 86-88

Thanks for clearing that up for me. One more thing though, I don't recall when I tore into the engine whether the rear main seal was a one piece or a two piece and I can't find anything that would work in my felpro gasket kit. I'm just wondering if it wasn't included for some reason. I'll...
