    4.6L mod motors have different bellhousing patterns than the 5.0L pushrod motors if I recall correctly. I don't believe you can mate a T-45 to a push rod motor and I vice-versa...well, not without some modifications.

    That would mandate 67+ lower arms. Plus, they aren't that adjustable. The reason for building the "adjustable" lower arms is that they are more easily adjustable. Rod-ends don't have give, but if you look at strut rods, and where the rod ends are, I highly doubt that it will hurt ride quality.

    I have to question how hard a convertible top is if you thought a headliner was intimidating. I'm sure a convertible top is no picnic, but, a headliner....when I had my '68 it took me about an hour and half and then a few hours for glue to settle.

    There are some oil resistant versions of loctite that would work also.

    *cough* In our helicopter maintenance pubs, RTV wil sometimes be called for...but never where a petrolem product is involved, then we use a similar, stickier, smellier substance we call 8802. Reason: petroleum breaks down RTV.
