    Suggestions to gain low-end torque

Forgot to mention that even though 4.10's will not increase your engine's torque, they will increase the torque multiplication factor to the rear wheels. And that will give your car more punch in the lower rpm range.

    Suggestions to gain low-end torque

4.10's will get your car's engine into the meaty part of the torque curve much quicker than your 3.55's.

    Stalling issue...please help!

Seafoam is good stuff. It eliminated a pinging problem on my 05 GT. If the problem persists after the Seafoam treatment, then suggest cleaning the TB. Auto parts stores sell a chemical spray that will not damage the TB's Teflon coating.

    Stalling issue...please help!

Did you drive for at least 20-50 miles after installing/reinstalling the tune, and after disconnecting the battery. Did you clean the MAF sensor and the TB?

    Cold start noise

Cars make all sorts of strange noises and do unusual gyrations when the temps drop into the teens and below. It's time to start worrying when they don't stop as the temps rise.

Got my CAI and Bama tunes today...

Hmmm.... I may be the only S197 GT owner who can fix a tune flaw with the gas pedal.

If the hesitation was stored in the KAM, then why did only recalibrating the TB/gas pedal eliminate it?

Your call regarding when to do the mods. Some like BC, others prefer Brenspeed. Suggest doing a search on all of the Stang forums to help with your decision. You can carry the tuner in your car if you want, but it's not absolutely necessary. You'll be ok switching from 87 to 93 gas with...

Replaced battery, Now Check Engine Light is On

The throttle body may need cleaning. Auto parts stores sell sprays designed specifically for this purpose. Also clean the MAF sensor.

Got my CAI and Bama tunes today...

Gotta respectfully disagree. My GT recently suffered from a slight hesitation problem during WOT. Performed the TB/GP recalib, and the hesitation was history. Also, doing the recalib has tightened up the throttle response, especially at low rpm's.

Got my CAI and Bama tunes today...

My 05 GT has the Bama 93 Race tune, and it pulls hard over the entire rpm range. Some users say it makes the throttle too sensitive, but that's exactly how I like it => Just like a cable operated throttle. One suggestion. After installing a tune, recalibrate the throttle body/gas pedal. -...

Maybe time to own a 3v

Although they're not exactly how they sound in person, YouTube vids will give you a glean of how an X-pipe sounds vs. an H-pipe.

Maybe time to own a 3v

The new Stang exhaust sound is due to the mufflers being located near the end of the exhaust system, pipe size(2.5" exhaust pipes/3" tailpipes), 3 valves/cylinder, and variable cam timing just to name a few design changes vs. earlier Stangs. All for improved performance. But if you want to...

    Oil Leak 2009 GT/CS

Take it to another Ford dealer. If all of them in your area refuse to fix it under warranty, then contact Ford. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
