    Also, mine wasn't purged at startup, I did some tests on the vacuum with the purge solenoid attached, and on startup, the hose at the canister experienced no vacuum draw, unfortuantly I can't hold my finger over it while driving to see if it opens up at speed.

    The bucking only started when I capped that vacuum line, which is why it has to be related to the change. Unfortunatly leaving the line open at idle causes the engine to vibrate and buck like a mofo, so much so that I didn't drive it with the open vacuum and capped it.

    If the smog pump is gone and there are no cat's. Can I just cap the evap canister vacuum port at the upper intake?? My hose is nearly shot and I think I am getting an irregular flow from that line into my upper intake causing some idle issues.

    Also, get a magnetic tipped oil pan plug. err well 2 for the 5.0's. It doesn't fix your problem, but it can catch some of that iron, even if you miss some.

    alcohol works because it still burns, but burns very very clean. Though is household rubbing flammable enough. Isn't it only 140 proof (70%). I know it burns, but I would go with the industrial 90% stuff.

    So you can't buy the 5-lug kit and then do a quick swap to the sn-95 spindles up front to make the new wheels work?? You would think that brothers and 50resto would have made the kit so that it works with the newer 5-lug wheels.

    My stock one still looked shiny, but the inlet pipes going into the core body had developed some hairline cracks. The coolant smell was the biggest indiicator for me. Well that and the fact I froze my ass off half of last winter.

    Yeah I think I have a vacuum leak coming directly into the upper intake. I have a hose that connects my cobra upper to what appears to be a charcoal canister. I have been told I can remove that and cap it off, thus closing that vacuum leak. Is this true??

    Finally got a chance to pull codes. I got codes 33, 41, and 91. 41 and 91 deal with o2 sensors, but my experience with them is marginal at best. Ideas and suggestions welcome. I tried to do a forum search but I keep getting the server is too busy.
