    Its possible he has a lower intake leak somewhere. Maybe the gasket didnt seat properly or something.

    smog pump eliminator

    If your short on cash you can just remove and gut your current pump. It has a little fan mechanism in it you can remove. Its not as effective as a delete kit but its free, and theres usually something to be said for that . It took me maybe an hour to gut mine.

    Thanks much. Yeah, I checked the EGR's vac line and it doesnt get any vac at idle. I was just curious as to the function of that cap on EVR, which seems to be minimal.. Just used as a filter. That lets me cross one more thing off my list of crap that could be causing my issues. Hopefully...

    No vacuum to FPR.. Side effects?

    Thats what Im using actually, pirated from the EGR line. I switched to that cut it down very slightly, cut about a millimeter off the FPR stalk and bent the bracket down some before I put the intake on. I'm pretty sure I have enough clearance but I'm gonna check again just to be sure.
