    Distributor gear looks chewed up???

IIRC, bronze gears are for short-run motors-- i.e. strip only, not for street motors. They are very soft. Ask GP about bronze gears..... hummer: sounds like you're still gonna need a new gear if yours is excessively worn-- pretty sure you need a cast iron gear. keep an eye on the new one...

    Time for a rebuild

I'm not sure how well a 6-cyl c4 will hold up to a v8. I really don't know if they are different, but I read about a guy with a 351W and his 6cyl c4 not getting along. I think he broke it right off the bat. I could definately be wrong-- hopefully someone else will know for sure. Just don't...

    Sticky Mid-Grade Performance Tires?

I have the euro BFG radial T/A's and yea, they don't stick too well. They seem very hard and don't wear very quickly. 15x8s will fit in the back of a 65-66, but I don't think they fit in the front. I run an 8" out back and a 7" up front.

Oppinions on our "farm-mechanic" fix or... "How strong is JB Weld"

on a air-cooled vw baja bug, we had a spark plug blow out of a cylinder head, ruining the threads (it may have had a helicoil previously-- i don't remember). We didn't have the tools to do it right and didn't want teh weekend ruined, so we JB-welded the spark plug into the head and let it sit...

Who would win between these two.

    I'm with you on this one. Pretty sure a 92 prelude would have a H22A (2.2L V-Tec). Runs mid-low 15s i think.

    Flywheel Question

Well once you figure out which flywheel you got, you'll be pretty close. Weather's supposed to be nice this weekend-- I'm actually plannin' a small cruise up here for Saturday. Hope your swap goes smoother than mine. Did you get a crossmember yet? I'd say if I was down your way, you could...

    Flywheel Question

If the flywheel is 157tooth, it will work with the t5 bell. If it's 164tooth, it's not gonna fit (been there, done that...)- you can either get another flywheel (what i did) or use the 4sp bell and an adapter (not the best route, IMO). If going with cable or hydraulic for the clutch, you will...

Did I get the right headers?

Ceramic coating is a silver/aluminum color. It looks really nice and they don't rust as easily as painted headers (unless the coating blows). Sounds like they sent you the wrong ones.

    What axle do I have

it was the later 9" HD housings. Like the later versailles housings. The small bolt large bearings are the ones that are perfect candidates for explorer rear disks. here is some info on it http://www.ultrastang.com/Ultrainfo.asp?Page_ID=4

You have GOT to be kidding!!

I saw an Accord (94+ i think) that had both the 99+ mustang tail lights and head lights. This guy just cut and bondo'ed the hell out of it. He also managed to get overspray on the lights when we "touched up" his paint.... It looked like crap.
