    You talking about the 6 screws that hold the center trim on? If so, I have started having issues with those too. I think it is more of an issue with the holes than it is the screws as I could still fit all the screws in the other good holes, yet none of the screws would work in the two...

    I have a custom touchscreen computer that I built and use in place of the standard radio so I am very familiar with the wirings behind the dash so that shouldn't be a problem. I have to replace my upper strut mounts next time I have a chance, so maybe I will take a gander in there during that.

    I have a small OEM scratch/chip underneath my "R" on the white ball. The R is a little malformed because of it.

    I went ahead and upgraded both wheels and tires by getting new gt500 takeoffs on ebay. With the money saved on mounting and balancing, the difference between those and what I would have spent on new tires alone was minimal. Plus, now i have an extra set of wheels.

    Right, but he was saying that the gears didn't feel like as much of a difference as he had hoped. I was just letting him know that the tune will have nothing to do with making the gears more effective in that regard.

    Is there any way to test if the problem is these without removing them? Also, would i need to get another alignment if I would install the GT500 strut mounts?

    Actually, I would like to know as well because I am getting the lumber thunking sound that bigcat described. I hate that I will have to tear the entire strut assembly out again though. I guess it should be easier now that I know what I am doing.

    Gears have nothing to do with your tune other than to notify your speedometer of the adjustment I believe. In a sense, the actual tuning of the car didn't change, just the setting of the gear ratio.

    Its your car, do whatever you think looks good. I have a vista blue stang so I went with the blue G2 paint. Matches very well.

    Took my car in to have it aligned this past weekend and where before I was noticing a faint clunking noise in the rear when going over bumps, I now hear it in the front as well. I don't know if I just wasn't paying attention before or what, but small bumps now give me a thunking sound. What gives?
