    Weight Reduction on a Fox

My '90 coupe is under 3000 lbs. and after weighing everytime I go to the track, light-weight wheels and no-AC really dropped the fat from mine. I also have a 6 pt. cage that added some back in but well worth it.

Please help me out! Crashed the car!!!

If you can find a car at a salvage yard, get the cowl from that car. That is what I have done for 2 mustangs that were brought to my shop in the past.

    Questions before buying 89, 5.0

I would say HIGH price. Work the price, especially if it is at a dealership, they probably have $2000 in the car, if that. Just my opinion though.

I need decent pistons for a stock block/crank/rod 306 rebuild.....

Each of those pistons are good options, it may depend on how much you want to spend. I am currently running DSS pistons and have torn the motor down once after a year of racing and they are still in good shape and withstand 17lbs of boost.

What color should I paint my car? Need paint codes and opinions...

Remember when you change the color of your car, the cost goes up due to door jams, hatch, engine bay, and behind all interior panels if you want to do it right. I even painted underneath the car when I changed from smurf blue to black.

So if the GT-R has somewhere near 500 hp.....

In my opinion as a loyal mustang man, I believe a good base for upgrades down the road is what I would like to see. For instance, a high percentage of mustang owners want to buy a car and make it their own by customizing it the way they want it to look and feel. A solid bottom end and solid...

    NEED PAINT HELP!

I personally use DuPont for most of my paint work, but also use House of Kolor if the budget can take it. I recommend staying with one brand through the project ( primer/sealer/color/clear ) DuPont VariPrime is very good as well as their clearcoats. I like using HyperClear in the winter...

    HELP!!!

If you feel a vibration when releasing the clutch, usually you have some hot-spots on the flywheel and you will need it resurfaced. If you feel the clutch slipping, like you said it doesn't hook right away when you lay in the throttle, you will need to replace the clutch. Re-surface the...

I would personally run 24's, but I don't think you absolutely have to.

    truck lower

For my application, I opened it up to a 1262 Felpro gasket. A couple of the runners had to be welded due to the bottleneck. You don't have to weld anything if you just want to gasket-match to say a 1250 Felpro.

    truck lower

If it is the rectangular truck ports, it is very close to the Holley. My Saleen/Vortech intake I had uses a truck lower and was nearly identical to the Holley. I had to do some major port-work and welding on the lower for my setup.

I'm extremely bored, so here's my engine plans for your review

You may consider a single turbo opposed to a twin setup. A friend of mine had twin tubos on his coupe for about 6 months, changed to a single and likes it much more. I would ask some people with twin and single turbo setups and see what fit's your needs the best.
