    You make good points. IMO, the appeal of the V8 is about musclecar herritage, greater starting displacement (for more overall potential) and the RUMBLE of it all. Small displacement motors are somewhat buzzy up top no matter how you tune the exhaust, and that doesn't sound very masculine...
