    I have a Built CHP 347 and have a new stock radiator, and 180 thermostat and have never experienced any over heating problems. :nice: I guess I’m just lucky. :shrug:

    Well if I remember correctly, I read an article a while back that had my engine specs as of now, that was producing 447 fwhp.

    Well I don't have a 331 but this still my help out. Its a 347. And it did pass emissions (here in Ca.), not even close to failure! heres the mods: CHP 347, AFR 185's,10.5 to1 comp. , Cam with 523/541 212/222, Cobra intake, 30lb injectors, 255lph fuel pump, Areo fuel reg., motorsport short...

    First off make sure your car is in good running condition. Do a basic tune up including oil change. Check all hoses etc. make sure everything is connected correctly. Make sure your engine is completely warmed up before test. (I had mine idling as I waited for test.) If everything is good there...

    I drive a 95' vert, and about a week ago my rear swaybar broke. I thought it was just a fluke. Now is this a problem with after market swaybars as well?

    Its allways a good idea to do a tune up/oil change before a smog test, that way you know all the "basics" have been checked.

    Well there is a big difference between 3 and 3.4. Its not too hard hand crank the motor to BDC make a mark on the wire and measure it. You could then do the same on a stock motor then check the differences if your not sure.

    does autometer make backlit guages?

    Ive had Autometer guages in the past and while they are "backlit" IMO they were dim and poorly lit. That was some time back so I dont know if they have gottin any better.
