    A 514 would probably be just as much if not more trouble than a LS1. You would also be adding a lot of weight to the front of the car. I say all aluminum 400+ci carbed LS1 with a 200 shot.

    Ok, I don't think I would want to go with a 351 or big block because of the weight it would put up front. Out of the 302 based blocks....which would be the cheaper route? The DSS block would be perfect, but I don't trust a stock block at all with 500+HP. What about the Mexican or early 302...

    Matched with the right parts you could make 300rwhp. You'll also need injectors(24lb), 65mm TB, headers, gear, you may want pullies. Need some suspention pieces too.
