    The BEST advice anyone can give you is to go to your local Dyno tune shop that work ONLY on mustangs, and have them SCT chip your Stang and if at that point you wish to buy the hand held unit , the tune will be set on the dyno for your specific vehicle.

    Do you have any work done to the engine? Any plans of doing any work? Shorties, believe it or not will be better on a stock mustang, with limited bolt ons. LT's my not help at all.. However if your going to modify the engine, then LT's are the way to go.

    Official Tremec 3650 Issues Thread

    TKO 600 will be my t3650's replacement. For now, i have updated the input shaft to a custom built 26 spline input shaft. I was told that the 3650 should hold up pretty well being my car will be tuned safely to 690 RWHP soon. IMO i'm thinking that good enough .lol

    I'd agree, It sounds like the MAF, i had a similar issue when i started my stang for the first time after rebuild. I forgot to secure the MAF and it separated from the cold air intake tubing causing the car to start and stall.
