Need some help with a title transfer

No tax if it's a gift, but you'll have to provide a statement from the previous owner to the effect that it was a gift.

    Brad's custom auto

Brad's is good. Fixed a valvetrain geometry issue on one of my cars. They work kinda slow, but that's industry standard. And a positive customer service experience is priceless. Take my money, but don't jerk me around. Good job getting the MaxMo parts - those guys really know their Foxes.

    Some b.s..................

Oh, yeah, that's a BFD. Get a lawyer. Or maybe you could just tell your kids to behave themselves a little better in public next time. Ugh... I can smell the avarice from here.

    i just bought a 83 gt

Pics, now! We don't care if it's gorgeous yet. That spoiler's not pace car specific - usually referred to as the "three-piece spoiler", it was available on early Fox ('Stang & Capri) hatches. '83 is a very good-looking year (my favorite, actually). Clean styling, reverse scoop. Must've...

    Lexus parking itself

Absurd. People who can't park their cars have no business driving. [/thumb down]

    HEY RESTORED OWNERS

Yeah, we're getting to that point. Thing is, there are still some very clean unrestored examples out there for comparatively reasonable money. Very low-mile (<15,000), near-perfect, unmodified V8 Foxes are getting about $12k these days. Now is the time to lay hands on one of those while...

So I get pulled over and it ends up with a cop car burnout...

I doubt Officer Friendly was driving a Crown Vic Sport. He'd be driving the Police Interceptor version, referred to colloquially as a PI or P71. And it would be loaded down with the usual police equipment. I've driven dozens of P71s in police trim, and own a 2001, which is bone stock and...

So I get pulled over and it ends up with a cop car burnout...

Crown Vic? He must've been power braking it - they won't turn a tire on dry pavement w/o holding the brakes on...

    Here's a real GT40 intake - the tubular kind:

    Notches

I'll wave to other 'Stangers, but the ones in newer cars gotta wave first - mostly they are secretaries, etc. who don't know their even driving a Mustang, or what they're all about. Naw, you could always buy them here. Notches outsold hatches in many earlier years. Thing was, they were...

    How much would you pay????

If it looks really clean and solid, about $1000 w/o hearing it run & shift. Don't bother at all if it has an AOD. They're worthless and cost twice as much to fix as a broken T5. Won't they even start it to roll it up on the block? What kinda auction is that?

Need help deciding on Vanity plate

The cop-related ones are gonna feel kinda dumb when you get a ticket :p How about "RUBLU2" or "BLUUAWY"?

Need help deciding on Vanity plate

I'm starting to like the OHC theme the more I think about it... kind of a poke at both the imports and newer Mustangs at the same time :nice: How about this?: NO OHCS If "BLOWN" isn't available (usually isn't), how about variations or a Hooked on Phonics version? BLOAN BLONE BLOWNN...

Need help deciding on Vanity plate

STROKD - this is okay; did someone else already get the "e"? DANS FOX - too tame; + giving others your name not always a good idea NDER PSI - means "under pounds per square inch"? not sure I'm getting that SMKN GT - too easy, lacks originality FOX BDY - no, it's not: the platform is called...

My coupe is up and running again! *pictures!

Looks tough with the black wheels. You really ought to be at the four-eye meet up north this August. Here's mine with the no-side-mouldings look: When I posted this pic up on FEP, first thing out of everyone's mouth was, "where's the mouldings?!" They're now back on the car...

Have you negotiated prices of large items?

Ah, the art of the deal. There's some books you could read on the topic.
