    For NA applications. MY rule of Thumb is approx 1 HP per cubic inch gives very nice street performance, that can be daily driven with little or no issues, a good idle and high vaccuum. Everybody has a opinion on streetable. Forced induction is altogether different.

    I had the same issue with the dipstick on my 331 with girdle. It appears you cant run the dipstsick in the stock location in the block. I had a canton pan and moved it there. I think the girdle deflects the dipstick towards the rotating assembly. As far as cometics. I had no issues with mine...

    In most mild NA combos the dyno should only optimize a combo. When I did mine. I had NO tuning and pulled 302/327. As matter of fact the only tuning we did was 3 pulls and drop the fuel 2 psi. It pulled 306/330 with no chip. I bet I could have pulled another 5-10 with a chip. My idle was...

    Who installed and degreed the cam. Is it operating at the range that Ed specified on the cam card. The cam could be over advanced. I have no experience with Ed's cams. But I had to advance my Jay Allen cam 2*. That combo should be a solid 300/320 easy when straight and maybe more.

    These are MAC junkers. I had the FMS shorties on my 95 and they where perfect. what good are equal length anyway. Long tubes are the only way to go in that case. Ill put em on ebay and let some sucka buy em. Maybe I will throw in a few spare plug wires

    Looks great........... I know how the excitement feels.... :nice: for putting a bung into the pan for the turbo/blower oil return I hope to drop my motor in next week. The darts come pre painted in black.
